UGA-WRF Updates - 01-23-2026

!!! MAJOR WRF UPDATE !!! The WRF is temporarily running out 48 hours twice a day. This is down from 24 hours, 4x a day.
Our domain has changed! We have refined more into Georgia specifically and have dropped the domain resolution to ~1.5km.
To aid in CAD events, new products for 925mb Temps, 925mb Theta-e (Aloft - Temps), 925mb Winds (Aloft - Winds), and 925mb Relative Humidity (Aloft - Moisture) have been added.
🧪Experimental products for Overall P-Type, 4-Panel Ptype, Rain/Snow (10:1 & Kuchera ratios)/FrRn/Ice Totals (Winter) and Stargazing Index (Special) have been added. They are still heavy works in progress. Let us know what you think!
